At Enviro-Tech Arborist Solutions we use a Vaccum excavation truck to do root inspections, pot hole inspections, service locations, root barrier installation and root pruning.
This unit has a powerful water blaster on board that can cut through soil and roots but does not cut through other items such as pipes or electrical services. The debris can be stored on site or taken away. Vacuum excavation is a clean and effiecient way of removing soil etc, in many situations.
Vacuum excavation technology is unique not only because of it’s ability to provide low impact, non invasive excavation, but also its ability to perform tasks in an environmentally friendly manner.
In many circumstances this unit reduces inconvenience and improves safety for the general public. This unit is compact, lightweight and can be placed almost anywhere an average car can go and takes up a little more room than a sedan.
We have also been very busy optimizing the maximum usage of our vacudigga by designing and using a solid/liquid seperator and water recycling unit to be used in conjunction with the vacudig excavator. This means the vehicle does not leave the site to dump the spoils. We recycle onsite. This has increased our working production to approximately 6.5m3 of excavtion per day. (based on present proto-type).
In addition to this it has allowed us to reduce our water usage down to 800ltrs per day by recycling the water out of the spoil we have. This saves our environment 360,000 ltrs of water per year.
