TREE WORKS

Canopy Reduction

Pruning to reduce the size of the tree from the sides and top. This is done to enhance visibility, reduce storm risk, correction of malformed growth or damaged trees.

Canopy Thinning

Removing selected branches to increase light and air penetration through out the tree canopy. This technique can also reduce the internal weight or the exposed sail area of the canopy.

Formative / Remedial Pruning

Pruning that changes the shape of a tree to fit next to a house, powerlines, garages etc. This is also a way of correcting poorly pruned or damaged trees. This type of pruning can encourage growing into a pre determined shape or form.

Canopy Lifting

Pruning that involves lifting the lower portions of the tree canopy for visibility, clearance and general health.

Canopy Cleaning

Pruning to remove deadwood, diseased or weak branches. This also includes crossing or rubbing branches.

This is one of the most dangerous aspects of our career. Having to remove a large old tree is often a hard call and can be quite expensive. This is the option that is given only after exhaustive alternative options are researched and found not to be acceptable or viable.

With all that said there are times and situations that tree removal is required and Enviro-Tech Industries has at its disposal some of the most up to date international mechanical, manual techniques and systems to enhance our proficiency and safety.

Technical removal of Diseased Jacaranda in back yard using rope rigging techniques. Logs had to cut into small sections because of confined space in the back yard and garden bed in situ.

Sometime the use of large EWP (Elevated Work Platform Vehicles) are required as per the removal of a large Eucalyptus over a 11000 volt powerline is required.

 Root Barrier

Root barrier is the placement of a specially made plastic barrier system up to 1.5 metres deep and as long as required to minimise the damage to buildings, sidewalks, roads, drive ways etc caused by invasive roots. This is an effective form of treatment for root issues if trained professionals are allowed to install and maintain. At Enviro-Tech Industries our staff evaluate whether the root barrier would be the most suitable or viable option for the circumstance and advise accordingly.

Root barrier can be utilised in the situation of soil subsidence and managing moisture issues around foundations and structures. Putting root barrier to close to the stem of the tree can accentuate the risk of the tree falling over and causing damage or injury, so only appropriately trained personal are allowed to install it in our company.
