Diagnosing Tree Health

There are many reasons why trees fail, ranging from the spatial conflict of tree roots and growing requirement in an urban developing city to extreme weather patterns. Here at Enviro-Tech Arborist Solutions, we use Diagnostic kits to assist us in finding the biological function, vigour and interaction in the rhizosphere of trees. Which in turn will enable the Arborist to define the trees and environments future Plant health care requirements or correct management strategies.

 Compost Teas

At Enviro-Tech Arborist Solutions we have come to realize that to ensure the soils are at optimum levels of microbial biological activity and healthy, this by default this will make the trees healthy, strong and vigorous. We create our own compost tea and soil stimulants, conditioners and bio fertilizers for the requirements of the individual trees or property.

 Compost tea is a nutritional and bio stimulant application in one. It is made along with water, and other ingredients like fish hydrosulfate, molasses, kelp and other carefully chosen ingredients. This gives a balanced blend of beneficial bacteria & fungi.

 Our compost tea is completely organic so not only is it good for your gardens it is good for the environment. Our resident agronomist tests and analyses the soil and makes a prescription for its remedial requirements.

Enviro-Tech's plant health care unit carries 50mtr hoses, so distance is not generally a problem. By applying our bio stimulants, soil innoculants and compost teas, (all organic) via our soil injection system we reduce the amount of water used by 75%. We do this by applying these elements directly to the roots. To obtain the same amount of water delivered externally you would need to use a 7500ltr water truck to spray. This innovative watering delivery system massively reduces our vehicle size requirements and by default lowers our Companies carbon footprint. This is something we at Enviro-Tech are very proud of.

  

These photos are a perfect example of how well our compost tea works. The above photo's are of a Poincianna tree that we transplanted and with all our transplants we treat the tree with our compost teas for a minimum of 3 months. As this is done in radial circumfrance the bushes directly under the tree also benefit. (as seen in pic 2 and 3)
